Our Birthday Wish for America

Two-hundred-forty-nine years ago, against tall odds, the people of the original thirteen colonies declared themselves a new nation, the United States of America. The ensuing eight-year war between freshly-minted Americans and the English crown was fraught with dangers and nearly ended in defeat.

Today, let us remember those brave souls who stood up to monarchy, rising time and again to defend their freedoms in the face of imposed authority.

Let us also take the lesson that the battle ahead of us will be dangerous as we stand up against a tyrant who seems to hold all the levers of power. Like those patriots of the past, let us find our courage and rise to the challenge, so that when we weather this storm we will become a better nation.

Take our Three-Question Survey!

We have a lot of work ahead of us to fend off the worst of this fascist administration and to find new ways of doing things together to help those who will suffer the most from unjust decisions from the boy-king and his minions.

To help us figure out what we'll do and how we'll do it, we've devised a simple three-question survey. We ask what you care about, what you can (or are willing) to do, and where you get your news.

If you haven't done so already, please take a minute to complete this survey.

Join Our Park Cleanup!

Saturday, July 19th, 10AM-12PM, Wister Park, 4971 Baynton St.

Join us on Saturday, July 19th as we do our part to help beautify the city with a cleanup of Wister Park & Playground and the surrounding streets. This cleanup may be right on time as our city workers negotiate with the Parker administration for fair pay. We want the kids to have a clean, safe place to play while the adults figure out the politics.

DC33 Strike Assistance

On July 1st, the employees of Philadelphia's city workers union, District Council 33, went on strike. These employees provide vital services to our city. They include the folks who pick up our trash, answer 911 calls, repair our streets, keep water running to our homes, crossing guards and more. The Parker administration doesn't believe they deserve fair compensation for the work they do; instead, focusing on tax cuts for the wealthy.

If you would like to assist the strikers, then click below and fill out the form.
