Tuesday, June 3rd, 6PM-7:30PM, 4601 North 18th Street
Join us at Stenton Mansion to enjoy a slice or two of pizza, meet some folks who share concerns about an issue, and learn about it from the folks who are doing the work in the field.
The topic of our next Teach-In is: Financing Affordable Housing. The event will include Councilmember Rue Landau, and our own Stan Shapiro, presenting their insights.
Our Teach-Ins are held at Stenton Mansion, 4601 North 18th Street. To park, enter the gate next to the blue Stenton sign on 18th Street and park along the grass.
Please note that space is limited to 30 people, so reserve your seat below.

Join the "Good Trouble" Call Squad!
Monday, June 9th, 6PM-8PM, Address Upon RSVP
We have been having great success connecting constituents with Congressman Bresnahan in PA-08 and Senator McCormick in an effort to persuade these elected officials to heed the demands of the voters who put them there, and reject the massive cuts to Medicaid and SNAP programs that affect more than a million Pennsylvanians.
This past Wednesday, our Call Squad connected 125 voters to McCormick's office! They left personal messages about their desire to protect funding for these foundational programs, blowing up the senator's phone line, and keeping up a relentless outcry against the MAGA agenda.
And everyone on the Call Squad is having fun reaching so many people, having good conversations and seeing their actions lead to a tangible result. We have two more "Good Trouble" phone banks scheduled for June 18th and June 25th.

Clinic Protection Rally
Saturday, June 7th, 8AM, 6th Street & Race Street
The so-called "right-to-life" crowd is back at it next weekend and they plan to harass the folks who use the Women's Health Clinic on 8th & Appletree Street, just north of Arch Street. We will meet at Franklin Square a few blocks away on 6th and Race for speeches, then march together to the clinic to await the arrival of this bunch of busy bodies and block them from entering the street in front of the clinic.

"No Kings" Rally
Saturday, June 14th, 12PM, LOVE Park, 15th & JFK Blvd.
Saturday, June 14th is Flag Day. It is also the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army - two special celebrations for our nation.
Sadly, it's the day the Tangerine Traitor - a man who ducked the draft and coddles dictators - has demanded a military parade for his birthday. Activists won't be in D.C. for this event because it would only help the arrogant sociopath claim they were there for him!
So, instead of heading to the nation's capital, Philadelphia has been selected as the National Anchor for a June 14th "No Kings" Rally!
Bring signs and enthusiasm as we start our rally at Love Park at Noon. Then we'll march to the Art Museum for the rally, where you'll hear from a broad range of speakers.
If you'd like to help out, we could use marshals/peacekeepers to help direct the crowd and deescalate potential conflict. You can sign up here. Otherwise, see you at the rally!
