All-Hands Meeting on January 25th
Saturday, January 25th, 2-4PM, Germantown Life Enrichment Center (GLEC)
Please mark your calendar! You want to be a part of this in-person meeting at GLEC, located at 5722 Greene Street, so that we can reflect on the first week of chaos from the trump administration, and offer some plans to respond together as a team. Planning continues and we'll keep you updated.
We’ll also report on work already underway on local campaigns that can put us on the offensive right here in Philly against the billionaire class that Trump is fronting for. And we will share ideas that we and our allies are developing to strengthen our connections to communities around the city, both to lift them up, and to open up more impactful ways to build interest in voting. We'll keep you updated.

Join a Planning Team
We expect that the trump regime will aggressively implement policies that will have grave consequences for members of our community, likely starting with our most vulnerable. We won't know some things until they roll out, but we can make some good guesses at what they will be. We're anticipating an early-January prep call. This Week in History
Jan 3, 1959 – Alaskan Statehood. Dwight Eisenhower signed a proclamation making Alaska our 49th and largest state 92 years after the U.S. purchased the land from Russia.
Jan 6, 2021 – Attempted Coup on United States. Right-wing cult worshipers of former president Trump assaulted the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the certification of the presidential vote count by Congress. They were barely thwarted by Capitol Police.
Jan 7, 1789 – First U.S. Presidential Election. This day was chosen by our first congress for states to choose electors to select our nation's first President. George Washington won in a landslide.
Thanks for your activism!
