On Saturday March 2nd the Poor People’s Campaign will hold simultaneous mass poor people’s and low wage worker statehouse assemblies at State Capitals across the country in more than 30 states including here in Pennsylvania.
800 people are dying from poverty every day in the U.S. Poverty is the 4th leading cause of deathin the U.S.
The 140 million people in this country who are poor and low income are a sleeping giant. Our job is to wake them up! We have to take action together in order to do this and this mobilization is part of that.
