About the Event
PNN will be joining our allies for a time of history, music, comradery and joy as we celebrate our nations 250th anniversary with a reading of our Constitution. The event will take place at the Richard Allen Lane train station located at 7200 Cresheim Road in Mt. Airy. Audience participation will be sought in the reading of each part of the declaration - along with historical perspective on why our forebears were angry at King George and its relevance to the current would-be king.
While not necessary, attendees are encouraged to come in costume - perhaps a "mob cap" and apron for the ladies and a "tricorn" cap for the gents - easily obtainable online or at the Betsy Ross House in Old City.To see a snippet of last year's event, click here.
