About the Event

International Workers' Day, celebrated on May 1st, honors the labor movement's history and promotes workers' rights globally. This May Day it is time for us to stand together once more against the fascist regime being financed by the morbidly rich among us.

We intend to send a clear message about who actually has the power by hitting the oligarchs where they are most vulnerable - their bank accounts. So, on May 1st, we will gather at High Point Cafe at the Allens Lane Train Station.

Then we will travel together by train to City Hall to join allies from all across Philadelphia for a rally at 4PM to call for Workers Over Billionaires. We're conducting a day of: No Work. No School. No Shopping. No Kings. No Kidding.
