Why we're involved
Irresponsible lending is devastating many areas of our city.
People being kicked out of their homes because they can't pay mortgages with ballooning interest rates that in many cases were sold fraudulently.
The Facts
- Banks are no longer local. They have no accountability to the community, and mortgages are immediately sold off to international investors.
- People talked into loans they can't afford.
